Im trying to find side mirrors with blinker for an 06 TL. Are there factory ones for the 07-08? Or do I have to custom fit the 09 side mirrors on my 06?

 

easiest route is to retrofit 07/08 mirrors. Its expensive tho.

Grab some from a junkyard.

 

07 and 08 are factory with turn indicators...keep in mind that the wiring for the lights won't be there tho...you would have to run it.

You should probably update that thread or at least post some pictures here. From what I read, it sounds "cheap," but I would like to see pix in the day and night.

 

The '07-'08 signal indicators face toward the front of the car not out around the mirrored part, so although flyromeo3's mod is neat as a DIY mod, I can't see a practical application to it. Especially as in most states/provinces the law is that any light shining to the rear of your vehicle has to be either red or amber, except for your reverse lights. As long as a person used those colours it could be cool.

OP my vote is to look for some mirrors at junkyards or here in the black market. They'll look soooo much cleaner than some backyard mod.

some shop here and parts store keeps telling me the blinker doesn't come stock until 09 TL, which I know he's wrong. Just wanted to double check. I don't wana go with LED strip, I want the actual side mirrors with the blinker and I would do the wiring (no biggy)

Yeah, 07+ TLs have the turn sigs in the mirrors.
