Removal of sticker

Well here's a strange question for you folks. . .

Do you have any suggestions on removing the "danger" sticker
that is on the driver (& passenger) overhead visor? It's +/-5" long
& 1-1/2" high. I know it's there for a reason; but I think it's
gaudy looking in such a beautiful car. I have tried to "peal" from
a corner & now it looks pretty ugly; but I'm concerned that if I continue, it will do damage to cloth of the visor.

Maybe I just need to wait for warm weather? ? ?It's in the teens
here in Northern Illinois.

Any suggestions would help.

Thanks,

Ken B.

Do Not Remove It! The FBI will come after you just like if you remove the sticker from a matress.

Is the sticker you are referring to the general 'SAFETY' information or engine starting instructions I have seen in cars? I am in Canada and I have no such sticker on my 04 6MT.

Perhaps this is something we Canadians don't get.

Cheers!

My guesses why Honda doesn't put the DANGER sticker in Canadian's cars:

(1) Because Canadians won't sue Honda's a$$ for "negligence" when the driver knows he/she did something stupid.

(2) Because Honda doesn't want to produce French/English stickers with the French portion twice as large as the English portion.

(I spent a wonderful year up in Montreal - awesome city!)

be carefull

Went to Rick Case Acura yesterday to test drive the new TL. Gotta have one, I'm selling my '02 TL-S ASAP. One thing I noticed was that ugly sticker on the sunvisor. I asked the salesperson about it, and he tried to peel it off, and was able to get a corner lifted, but underneath the color material in the fabric was way off color. I don't know if it stuck to the glue, or if the color is not embeded in the visor material under the sticker. In any event, it looked worse after he removed the sticker, and looks like they are going to have to re-glue it on the visor. Be warned!! If the airbag police don't get you, you might not be happy with the results removing the sticker.

The Mattess Tag says MAY ONLY BE REMOVED BY CONSUMER.. It does NOT say DO NOT REMOVE AT ALL or anything like that..

People just are like sheep when it comes to matress tag issues!

If the canadian car does not have the sticker, is there any way to order 2 visors from our northern neighbors and have them installed.

I am sick of these stupid warning labels all over everything. I am surprised there are not more warnings for the Navi version (i.e. Do not look at this screen when driving, or looking at screen instead of road can cause accidents). I say let the stupid people fend for themselves.

Perhaps we need a Natural selection law.....
