Received 2004-05 Lighted Sill Plates!!

I received this morning the TL lighted sill plates. The packaging, stainless steel sill plates, the hardware, etc., all look very good! Very OEM looking. I also printed the instructions that Prince Custom Auto Parts, David Prince, sent those who ordered the first go around (PrinceCustomAuto@aol.com). There phone number is (845) 416-4815, in case someone wanted to order. Of course he is on the "Black Market" section of our club membership.

Question: How much time and what would be the charge to have it installed? I am considering having it done out. What is the level of difficulty?

Stuart

After reviewing the instructions, I would say maybe at teh VERY most an hour worth of work - and that's stretching it. You can probably do it yourself, just wait a few days for somebody here to finish the install and get a good write up with pictures and you can probably do it yourself.

Quick question..

The rear plates that I received were bent a little...is that normal?

I haven't seen my TL for like 2 and a half months , so I don't remember how the rear OEM sills look like...

It should be like this (unless yours is damaged), but the back sills are curved on the one end. I can't find a picture at the moment.

Jinen the rear plates should be bent to account for the curve in the back door sill plates. If you guys have any questions let me know.
