Does anybody recommend buying the warranty? I just got my TL a few weeks ago and it was not certified so I was just wondering Price etc. Thank you.

I wouldn't either. When I first bought my car and before the mfg warranty expired, I had the option of buying it. I gambled that my Honda product would be ok through 100k miles. Other than a starter going bad and getting replaced, I have not had to pay for anything outside of normal maintenance items. My 05 has a little over 100k miles.

I'm trying to decide this myself, I have about 6 months/10k miles until I'm out of the bumper to bumper warranty and I'm considering purchasing it.

It's really up to you, I got it for mines just to be safe. I mean although some people are able to pull through without warranty. I wouldn't want to be one of the unlucky people who's transmission, motor mounts, & ect fails. Don't get me wrong, in time everything learns how to fail. But when it fails & you're still under warranty/extended warranty you're pretty much safe from shelling tons of money out of pocket to pay. You will still pay a bit but not as much as you paying for the whole repair yourself.

They sell them because they make money on them so odds are you'll spend more on the warranty coverage itself than repair costs over the same period. My two cents.

If it wasn't for the transmission issues I'd say skip it for sure. Since $4,000 for a new trans would kill me I'd seriously think about it.

Thanks guys! Yeah all in all it is a honda, we all should be fine! I think I'm going to steer away from this idea.
