Question about 18" OEM rims

Is the orange plastic supposed to be removed from the center caps that come with the 18" OEM wheels???? I seem to remember this being discussed before, but I can't search the new forum unless I missing something.

Sorry, I don't have the answer to that, but I do have a quick question - it comes with valve stems right? That way you don't have to buy them when you get tires?

Yes, valve stems (chrome ones) and the center caps come in the same box as the wheel.

The orange plastic is covering the adhesive, you peel off the orange leaving the clear tape, stick the posts thru the center cap and rub down the adhesive. Then attach the round clips to the back of the posts. You have now assembled the chrome ACURA emblem to the center cap.

Yes, they come with valve stems.

My installer left the orange piece on. I did not think it would look good at first, but seeing for the first time, i fell in love. It looks great on my NBP. Brings a little bit of color to my black on black car.

You gotta be kidding, take it off. I refuse to look at your car until you take off the orange backing material. I'm going to hold my breath until you do.

Did you do it yet?

I dont think they would look good with the Anthracite , I feel as though it would contrast with that color. I only think the cap would look good on Black or White, period.
