POLL! What color do you have?

In my opinion Satin Silver is the best color by far (Last gen and current TL).
If I buy a TL, it will be in silver or black.
Anthracite is a fairly pleasing color, but simply can't compare to the great Carbon Gray offered with the TSX. Why isn't the TL offered in Carbon Gray?

the 2 dealers I dealt with in connecticut had lots full of various colors and the anthracite and black were not represented as much. there was one green one on each lot. it seemed that abp wasnt very popular but silver, white, gold, and redondo red were about equal. I thought about anthracite after seeing it in the brochure but in person its ugly.

Right now I'm a memeber of "Team Transparent."
I've always liked silvers and grays for exterior car colors, but I'm really liking the red. It's not flashy but it's not a boring maroon either.

I think the SSM/Ebony is the "preferred" combination for Acura. Their brochures and commercials use that color combo.
Since I live in Canada, and especially the really dirty air Toronto, silver is the best color. A black car would need to wiped down 3 times a day because of all the dust in the air.

That said, I will wind up with one of these colors because I love this car (and don't want to wait until 2005), but for such a classy car I find their color (exterior / interior combos) choice imagination somewhat lacking.

To answer your question. Based on analysis of our user database we gather about 2000 REGISTERED TL owners.
It is our estimates that for every registered user we have, we have 3-4 accompanying guests.
I would estimate our reach of 2004 TL owners up to as many as 8000.
But concretely, we have approximately 2000 registered users who claimed to own a 2004 TL when they registered.

Based on this, total sale number: 36112, http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75697, we have more than 5% of 04TL owners so far, and maybe there are more than 10% of real owners ever checking this site before.
But, so far, we only have 500 04TLers vote their colors. Hopefully we will see this number gets bigger and bigger very soon.
Thanks soopa & Astroboy for all the helps you guys have done to us.

I understand the attraction to the Anthracite but I'm amazed how popular it is in this poll. I think it's a matter of color combination-to state the obvious. When I first saw the TL on the lot this past Fall my eye always drifted to the Anthracite first. However, the Parchment interior REALLY stood out to me as well. Since that combination is not available I had to start considering which was more important to me-interior/exterior. By February I had seen enough and decided the Redondo Red/Parchment was going to be my choice. I'm really happy with it. As a matter of fact I like it more and more each day. I think the Anthracite is more Sporty while the RR is a little more "stately"....since I'm 48 y/o that may be appropriate anyway, huh?
I've had it for a month and have still not Zaino'd the car but I can't wait to get on it. I haven't heard any comments about Zaino on the RR yet. Any comments about that??

Congratulations! That's a very elegant combo. The RR is bright and cheerful and goes well with parchment (or camel). You have to apply the wax very carefully so you wouldn't leave swirl marks. Have fun!

I thought I was going to hate Desert Mist as it wasn't my first choice (yes anthracite like everyone else's). I now love it and it goes well with the dark offsets of the mats, tint and mud guards. So easy to keep clean I can't believe it. Haven't seen one other since last October, only lots of silver and anthracite. Everyone asks me what colour it is and comments on how it sparkles in sunlight.

I wanted black/parchment. Ended up with black/ebony. I wanted fake wood. Ended up with fake carbon plastic. I'm trying to get over it. Driving the car helps. Traded in my BMW 528i for this car. There is NO comparison. This TL is AMAZING. Test drove Infinity, Lexus, Mercedes, BMW. ACURA TL WINS!

Deep Green Pearl was my pick. I wanted the Acura 18" Alloy wheels and the gray in the green works very nicely with those wheels. The green pearl also looks great with the camel interior which I believe ties the wood grain trim in best.

Just purchased (2 weeks) 04' TL Anthracite / Quartz, body kit, lip spolier, 18" wheel package, w/o Navi. I love it! We compared with BMW 330I and found the TL offered so much more for the $.

I asked the dealer not to detail my car. I prefer to polish it myself. Since it's black, I want to start out without scratches or swirls. I will pull it into my garage on the day I get it, work on it all night, and emerge the next morning with stained sheets and towels to display to the neighbors. Like an Indian wedding ceremony.

Obsessed Over Color
I went back and forth deciding about the color. Since I wanted a TL with navi, my choice was more limited. It seems that only about 10% of the dealer stock has navigation. Originally, I wanted the classic silver/graphite combination. But, I really wanted the wood interior. If Acura offered a graphite/wood interior (even "black wood"), I probably would have gone for that. Another consideration is that in South Florida, a black leather interior can turn a car into an oven in the summer. Still, I probably would have gone with that, if wood had been available. I ended up choosing the White Pearl with the Parchment interior. The two-tone interior looks sharp and the wood looks great with the tan leather. The graphite has a sportier look; the parchment, more elegant. While the white exterior hovers between 11 and 12%, I think it really shows the TL's lines very nicely.

I get my new BLACK TL tomorrow at 2PM.
I have been waiting since March 29th. Today, I sat in it and programmed some addresses in the navi. Great fun. It smells sooooo good.
Last night, while thinking of my beautiful new car, I had a wet dream.
I would have had two- but I fell asleep.

SSM,I almost went with the white so I could get the light interior,But the lighter the interior the more wear it will show,I did love the Black exterior but I live in the central valley(Ca.)where temps hit 110 in the summer and it's very dusty so it limits your choices,Plus they had a SSM in stock,That was an easy choice. They had a Black one and a green one also.
