You should do a poll for Canada and one for USA and I'm sure the result would be much different.

1-Since anthracite is Available only on 6MT in Canada, there would be far less anthracite canadian TlLthan USA ones.

2-You guys in the States, seems to like white since your country is much more warm than Canada. Here white is not much popular, especially since rust appears very quickly....

The main reason I bought the ABP car is that my favorite color is blue and I never owned a blue car.

The other reason is that all I see are WDP, SSM, AM, and NBP TLs. It gets boring, though I do like the car in all of those colors.

I pass by Island Acura every day. They've had the same WDP car sitting in front for several weeks (don't know tranny or navi specifics). They now have an AM too. I've never seen one on display that wasn't one of the "top four" colors.

I don't see '04 TLs in my area to often, but they're mostly one of the "top four" colors. I appreciate not seeing myself coming and going with my ABP.

I'd be curious to see how this poll stacks up against Acura's numbers (units made or units sold). I'm wondering whether Acura's view of color-popularity matches this poll.

Either way, it seems that the ONLY color I wanted (RRP) is third from the bottom... and from what I'm hearing, is only going to be offered on 2004 models. I didn't want a bunch of identical cars around anyway. Makes mine more unique!

White, same color I had on the 2002 tls. The bumbers are not exactly the same white, anyone notice that on theirs.

tmitch: The WDP TLs seem to be the most noticable. Our TL is SSM. It has the same mis-matched paint on the bumpers. The rear is worse than the front. Oddly enough it wasn't an issue when we bought the car, but once you notice the difference you always seem to be drawn back to it each time you look at the car.

We called ACS and lodged our complaint. They are aware of the problem. Hopefully enough owners will complain and they might fix it. I'm not holding my breath.

PS - looking at other makes, we notice the problem is worse on Audis, not so much (if any) on BMWs. If a silver Dodge Neon can have matching bumpers, why can't ACURA get it right?

Somebody should make a post that shows all the different colors side by side on stock 2004 TL's for people shopping for one. The Acura website has the Build Your Own color selector thing, but it'd be cool to see them in big pictures side by side. Thanks

But the only problem is the colors chart would be never precisely showing the true colors in the computer screen.

Our WDP has mismatched bumber colors as well. I haven't called ACS yet, but I will point it out at its 1st service visit. I find myself looking at other makes/models of white cars to see if they share the problem. It seems that about 1 out of every 2 or 3 have bumpers that don't match. Go figure.

Now I'm open to all colors and i think all of them look fine on the TL, but does the Red fade? Has this color been on any other Acura and showed fade after a while? It just seems that the red might look dull after 5 or 6 years. I guess I just don't know anything about painting/processes, but I'm just inquiring. It's a great red if I've ever seen one. Does it look pinkish/magenta-like sometimes though, in certain lighting conditions?

Yes it does under street/parking lot lamps. As a matter of fact, when I saw one under those light it made my color choice much easier.

I DEFINITELY would have gotten the white diamond pearl (so hott!)....

but I just had a pearl white car - I needed to change things up a bit.

Just ordered WDP/QZ/5AT/NAVI. Dealer said this is the only one with this combination they sold. They sold 2 other WDP/QZ/non navi and all the rest were WDP/Parch

I just bought the WDP/QZ/5AT. I had been looking for that color a few months and it just arrived from Factory the day I bought it 8/28/04. I think it's a bit unusual. The downside will be keeping it clean I guess. It sure is beautiful now.
