"Please allow me to introduce myself"....

"I'm a man of wealth and taste".......Which is why I drive a TL! Well as a former vette forum, Jeep forum and BMW fourm guy....I hope this board is as helpful as those others and my brief time here so far leads me to beleive it will be! Just accuried an 06 TL with 22k and am loving it! Got some ideas on the DVD audio already and have ordered them.....Now I need some good quality floor mats. Not the all weather ones I've seen discussed. Good carpet ones with Acura logo's. Anyone have any suggestions other than the OEM ones? Thanks!

Mats

When i bought my 06 it had no mats. the dealer I worked with was not an Acura dealer. He had a guy he used that built mats from the original smapled he had on hand. I figured it was worth a shot since I was nto paying. They worked out great and look sweet. i was even able to chose the stiching and letter coloring he used. All for I think about $50. My suggestion would be talk to some local dealers and see who they use.

Here's what I had just before the TL.....Funny thing was I also had a company car...a 2007 Chey Malibu which I describe as the "gay adult book store experience".....meaning I felt the same sense of embarrasement being seen in the malibu as I would if my friends saw me walking out of a Gay book store.....Not that there's anything wrong with that lifestyle but..... lol

BTW for those interested the "shine" on the cars is complements of ZAINO!...simply the best!

Congrats on your new ride and welcome to Acurazine!

If you're still looking for mats, I don't know of any place except through the dealer... sorry.

how can you give up a 5series, my dad had a 2006 530i fully loaded. I really really loved that car!

I like your TJ, I miss my ZJ, had a small lift, rock rails, skid plates and bigger tires. I miss going offroad with it (Grand Slam East, EastCoast Run, Tellico, etc). But i don't miss having it at the shop twice a month.

Me too. I started singing the song in my head before I even clicked on it. It's actually a Stones song originally. Axl Rose just butchered it.
