Angry Perfect Aim

During a rather nice day last week I opened the moon roof on my way home from work. Shortly after leaving my office, and while driving about 35 MPH I might add, a passing bird dropped a near perfect shot through the open roof and smack dab onto the middle of the center arm rest console.

I'm amazed, not only did the bird need to get in line with the car, but it had to account for the forward motion and perfectly lead me. I think that bird could be an NFL quarterback in its next life.

At least I wasn't hit.

Hopefully, it didn't seep into any seams, either. Nice catch!

Get out your 303 Aerospace.

Are you sure it was a bird or was it a guy in a G35 that you passed by surprise?

Wink We allowed the nature to embrace us...

Tons of convertibles, cabriolets, roadsters, etc, are having their sky wide-open... you're just one of the lucky guy out there.

I was ever hit by it while riding the motorcycle.

Go to get some lottery later.

It's a chinese thing. It's also good luck, if a bird makes a nest on your property... A bird decided to make a nest near our bedroom window... My wife got mad at me, when I tried to get rid of it....

LOL, birds building their nests on my parents house brought them bad luck, my mom spent countless hrs hosing them out. They ended putting nets on the roof to prevent it. Its funny out of all the times i have my moon roof open i never had stuff fall in, but one time in my moms ML i had the drivers side window open an inch on the fwy and a piece a rock hit directely below my eye shit i was so glad i was wearing sun glasses!

I had ALMOST the same thing happen to me last week - except the bird missed my sunroof and nailed a spot on the windshield out of reach of the wipers. This happened right after I had just left on an hour ride following a two hour wash and wax. I had to look at the poop for the whole trip. Needless to say I was in a pissed off mood the whole way...

my parents always say "if you get hit by a bird shit, you immediately buy a lotto ticket" it's a good luck thing

lol i can imagine the saying deriving from some lazy bastard who was told to remove the bird nest... when the birds were making it, he was probably saying "no, no, i assure you, this is good luck... you really don't want me going up there and removing it." and once it was made and then told again to remove it, "i would get rid of it, but man, it's bad luck to do that..."
