So I looked around google Honda and Acura sites…not 💯 sure about the cross referencing. I know my upper trans mount is cracked. . I seen similar tranny ones on Honda sites way cheaper but say for the 3.0 v6. So basically has anyone used 1. Aftermarket ones from auto parts I get awesome discounts at my friends store…I get really good discounts 2. Know how to check if it is the same part kinda do want to stay OE..and 3. Would there be a big difference if I would get the aftermarket part obviously the premium/best one and the OEM one?

Easiest way to cross reference between Acura & Honda:
Find the Acura OEM part #'s for the mounts you want to replace.
Go to a Honda online vendor and enter the Acura OEM part #'s into that site.
If there is a Honda part# that matches the Acura one, you've found your cheaper alternative.

In addition, you can also use those Acura OEM part #'s on rockauto to help find compatible aftermarket mounts.
The choice is yours on how much you want to spend.

 

Well I had tried that with the tranny mount and nothing came out but when I put Honda upper trans mount on google or the site the diagram pic looked the same but you know the sites well the ones I seen it’s kinda more an outline lol. I will try that again though thank u 🙏. As for $$$ I mean if mad like to stay oem of course. Not always an option but also don’t want to let something slide cause $$$ is an issue the have more things happen you get me?

 

I just bought a man oem and Fleabay front mount. Will do a comparison. The price difference is huge. But is the quality that different? I think it comes down to the quality of the rubber.

I usually compare Rockauto and Amazon. When I did my clutch replacement recently I replaced 3 mounts. The passenger side, front and the top of trans.

The passenger side I had on hand from rockauto, don't recall the brand. Top trans and front mount I got in Beck Arnley from Amazon.

P/N 104-1896 - its like a hard plastic piece with rubber insert. About $25-26 and prime delivered quicker than rockauto.

 

How they work out for u? You like the feel? How long ago did u do them? My other mounts look fine the car still very smooth at idle and driving but I had notice shifting reverse to drive sometimes it felt a little I guess rougher and when I did the the intake saw the mount in the pics I posted

 

Honestly, I didn't notice a difference in any feel.

The fit was direct drop in.

Didn't take a pic of the trans mount. But, it looked pretty similar in design and weight .So don't know if new oem would be worth the extra cost.

Yea thts what I was wondering being as yes even though there not oem even cheaper companies being as we have advanced some since 07 maybe somethings would be ok going non oem. My brake pins and clip got those oem. But seeing the price of the upper mount if I start doing all the preventative maintenance I’ll be out of $$ all the time lol

 

Oh I also wanted to add putting Honda and Acura part numbers online didn’t work…the 07 accord has the same part even when looking online seeing which vehicles the mounts fit I looked em up cause they didn’t pop up on either site the numbers do change. So I forgot who commented above bout this but didn’t work out lol the middle numbers changed but ima double check at Honda just to makes there the same part before getting the oem or non oem part.
