More 6 speed pictures....
Here are more 6 speed pictures I took yesterday. The car is blue with the body kit and 18's. I also took a picture of a red TL that was headed to the Seattle Auto show (starts today).
I test drove the blue 6 speed and was very impressed. This car has alot of get up and go! I can't wait until my SSM/Ebony Navi HPT arrives in December!

Thank's Gary, nice pics! I really dislike the A spec package it spoils the great cohesive look of the car. It gives it an AZTEC effect.

It looks too bling bling for a nice higher-end car like the TL. If it were a Civic, Mazda6 or something, then yeah, bling the hell out of it, but only jackasses take Benzs, Bimmers, Lexuses, and put all that crap on them, chrome etc. It ruins a really nice car if you ask me. Anything bigger than 18" wheels will look kinda lame too...
Keep it simple. Nice cars don't need that fancy garbage on them.

test drive
Hey! I just test drove that car two hours ago! Yep, Acura of Bellevue. The manual is one slick little tranny. I highly recommend anyone considering it to give it a try. The clutch is incredibly light and the short-throw shifter works great.
The body cladding they put on the car is a bit much. The front lip scraped on their driveway as I was coming back from the drive. Salesman said they'd been doing that all week since they got the car ready (Monday).

Every dealer around here has one TL that has all the options sitting on the floor. My girlfriend said that she likes the body kit, I don't care for it. I think at the most I would get the mudflaps and maybe paint them body color.

I couldn't agree more with all of you. The body kit just looks like a bolted-on afterthought. The car has nice cladding as it is; clean with taut lines.
The only thing I WOULD consider doing to set the car apart is to add 18" wheels with 245 series tires to give the car a wider, more aggressive footprint from the front and rear. It might also need to be lowered a little if 18" wheels are added.

I like the body kit on the front, except for the scraping problem. I think the front is boring without it. The side and back are too pontiac. I dont know what the car would look like with the front only, though.

I ordered the bodykit and I think it looks even sharper then without the kit. I definately like the front spoiler. I think without the front kit, the front of the car looks too rounded.
Personal preference.

I drove a slightly lowered (about 1 inch) TL with the body kit today and it looked great as far as body kits go-but I probably wouldn't get it for my TL. The cars lines are so clean and well designed that I would prefer to leave it stock I think.
I have to say that with 18s and the lower profile tires (40 series) it looks MUCH better lowered a bit to eliminate that unsightly tire gap. Makes a big difference IMO; a nice set of coilovers like Tein, Bilstein, maybe Comptech with some lightweight forged, polished 18s on about a 1-1.5" drop
