I know this topic has been milked but this is the last thing I need to know .

I finally got my switchblade key (thanx to FLBusa) Now everywhere I went, no locksmith can do it (so he says). One said only the dealer because of the programming, the other 2 just said no, they didnt want to mess it up.
So b4 I go to the Dealership I was wondering if anyone in Jer-z had a key done at a local locksmith ?

(I didnt want to go to the dealership because WHEN I DID MY SEARCH I read that the dealership charges too much. If you do know of any I'm in the union/essex county area)

I have a guy in Washington Heights, New York, NY... it's right over the George Washington Bridge... You could all the fine a$$ Dominican Ladies and get your key cut and programed.... Let me know...

where u live?? i live in west orange. i got it done at dch montclair acura in verona, nj. i usually go there for service and they are one of the best service dept. i told them of my plan and asked them how much it was to cut and program my key and they said 50 dollars. i got my key cut at the parts dept by tom. probably can get this done for free. then ask for another tom, the service rep, and hell program it for 50 dollars. i go there all the time, so he said he would program it for free, i would just have to tip the service guy. gave him 20 bucks and was on my way. i would highly recommend them.

i got my key cut at boardwalk acura in south jersey. 59 beans total cut and program.
