Does anyone know how I can remove my OEM rear wing spoiler? Are there holes that I have to patch up? I'm looking to remove my spoiler and add a lip spoiler instead. Thanks for your help!

 

They're usually drilled on. Most recommend replacing the whole decklid. Try this thread.

Yes, there are holes - 2 per side. You can get at them if you take the trunk panel off.

See if anybody wants to trade locally or regionally. You might even start to find trunk lids in junkyards for 2004s.

Hi everyone... I have an acura tl 2004 white with an OEM spoiler. I am looking forward in removing it. I would personaly give it away to anyone if they just remove it. Including the repair of the holes. Or i wudnt mind trading trunks at all. If u hav any intrest just let me know. I live in new york. Ill meet up anywhere in NY

 

Dude, easy to remove. Take out the inside liner panel of your trunk, take out the 4 bolts, 2 on each side. That will leave you with 4 holes, depending on your color you will most likely need to paint the whole trunk to make it look right. I have the same spoiler on mine, my color is WDP, and my body shop told me they would have to paint to whole trunk.

 

Instead of getting a new trunk, you can save a lot of money by plugging the holes with nylon inserts. Just file them down so they aren't noticable and paint them. You can save a lot of time and money that way.
