So I have an 06 TL ASPEC. Recently, someone stoled my rear aspec body spoiler (the bottom part). So, since I always wanted the dual exhaust (like the type S), what do I need to get? I ask because I was going to purchase the rear aspec body part to replace it but what does that have to do with the dual exhaust?

Appreciate the help.

Oh...and by the way, Im moving soon to a house with a garage so no one f*cks with my shit on street parking (moving from queens to LI).

 

yes, buy the 08 type-s aspec rear kit.

I will have to get it painted too....I have anthracite metallic. Right?

No, the lip kit comes pre-painted. just like your lip kit that was stolen. UNLESS, they dont offer your color in the type-s variant.


BUmpers are the only thing that dont come painted.

 

or.......buy a type-s bumper instead of cutting up your existing one and then putting the S ASPEC lip on it. Of course you would have to have both painted to match.

OP, you have three options to pull off the quad tip look:

1) You will need to mod your base exhaust by welding on single to dual exhaust tips. Lots of threads here on azine to research.

However, most of these modded tips are for owners that keep the base rear, aspec or not, so their dual tips are smaller in overall width. However, if you plan on going with the type-s rear, aspec or not, and keep your base exhuasts you'll need to purchase dual tips that fill in the type-s rear outlets.

2)Purchase type-s stock exhuast system or just the exhuasts with tips (if available).

3)Purchase an aftermarket exhuast with dual tips, such as, the ones available through ATLP or XLR8.
