- 07/08 have lower foglights
- 07/08 have different grills and grill trim
- 07/08 base and Type-S A-spec kits are different from each other also different from 04-06 A-spec kits.

If you get a bumper cover you will still need the following
-Fog light housings
-Fog light harness
-Bumper Grill trim
-Grill
-Hood grill trim
-Lower grill vents (Except if you get the A-spec kit you won't need these)
-Acura center grill trim.
-Bumper might need painting depending if you get one used or new
-A-spec OEM kit comes painted.

Heres my 06 base model TL with an 07/08 a-spec lip.. Theres placement for my foglights on my lipkit, however it doesn't correspond to my bumper / fit correctly. I'm just trying to install my oem TL foglights but my bumper doesn't allow it.. How would i make this work?

FYI there is no difference in the fog lights of the 07-08 base and type-s.

OP as you stated, it doesn't correspond to your base bumper; so your options are to either modify it i.e. cut an opening so the fogs will fit or buy a 07-08 bumper.

I already have the 07-08 fogs but it won't fit because of my bumper
