I had a conversation with my dealer today and they told that the 6spd may be discontinued due to poor sales. I know production will start after the autos, has anyone ordered a 6spd and received a build date?

 

My 6spd will be at the dealer on Wednesday...it had a build date of 9/19

 

nice congrats. your car is a 04 or 05? cause i thought they were stopping production on the 6MT for a bit.

 

I too have ordered my 6 speed. it will be at dealer this week or possibly next. Just to give you some sigh of relief, the dealer gave me my vin #. I went to acura.com and input that number. It verified the color combo and the fact that it is an 05 with 6sp.

 

I would bet that 6spzoomzoom was looking for a 6MT of a particular color combo and the dealer was trying to sell a 04 that he had on the lot, but was a different color.

Acura is selling a ton of 6MTs and is not going to quit making them “for a while” unless there is a good reason.

 

plz dont let this be true, otherwise im going straight to the g35.

 

The Infinitinews site says that '05 6MT G35 sedans won't be available until December, so the straight road to the G35 would experience some construction delay.

This is good news. I can't wait until they offer AWD w/ 6MT. Anyone want to guess at MSRP? The dealer tells me the new RL sticker is $48k, so I'm thinking 38-39k.

 

I already have one. I was just talking to the manager at the dealer. Look like he was wrong. which is a good thing.
