Formula 1 Pinnacle Ceramic tint
I figured I would get more responses here. For those who have the F1 Pinnacle ceramic tint, does it look a little purple-ish from inside when the sun shines directly to the window? It looks different from my previous dyed tint and I was wondering if it's normal or not. Thanks a lot!

I have them Pinnacle tint on my TL and I would describe the color as installed on the glass as sort of blue/green as compared to my other car with 3M CS film which is more of a gray.

the purple-ish/blue-ish shade that I see is when I am inside the car looking out (no sunglasses) especially when the sun hits the windows directly. It looks great from the outside.

Only when I look at other passing cars and the sun is at a certain angle. So I do notice it a bit but it's not a big deal.

Are you sure you got what you paid for? The purple hue you describe is common with cheaper dyed non-metalic ting. I've had my F1 on the car for 5+ months and never seen any purple hue in the tint under any conditions.

Yeah. The shop is called Accutint and it's well known in the Seattle area. When I picked up the car the guy had just finished working on it and he showed me the tint in a roll with a box that says Formula one pinnacle. I will go back and ask to compare "their" formula one with "my" formula one...
