I could go on forever, but today I am going to get some tint put on, after that I plan on getting:

-The Doms nav kit, possibly the back up camera as well.
-CAI
-Exhaust, im not sure what setup yet, I'm waiting on those sound clips to show up on the board!!
-Eibach pro kit
-20" Donz monanas
-RJ or A-spec lip kit, haven't made up my mind on that yet either...
-possibly a SS too?

Don't forget to use moleskin with the tint to prevent scratching

any questions, do a search for moleskin

I love it. I don't think I could be happier with my purchase. Can't wait to get some tint on it and throw some wheels on there too!

yeah, i'm trying to get him to:
1) tint the car
2) add dom's unit and a backup camera
3) get the comptech short shifter
4) get the a-spec body kit

i heard that acura of escondido carries the last two items for very good prices

Whats the best place to order it? From my search, it seems like it is fairly straight forward... Does it affect the warranty?

$160 with moleskins for 7 windows. If your price beats that you must be sleeping with the installer lol

Thats not bad. Nah haha Im friends with a guy who tints cars at his work at night after they are closed. But he was going to do 100 W/out moleskins, so it may be worth the drive up there. I am going to put 5%on all of the windows, and i wanted to put light on the windsheld, because I have heard that the tint strip doesn't look good on our cars. Any suggestions?

Well my first suggestion would be not to get 5% on the car. Not only is that really asking for a ticket in Cali, its right next to impossible to see out on at night. And if your buddy was a good installer, he would know that TL's require a moleskin type product to protect from scratches I think it would be worth it for you to go up there.

What do you think about the strips, or light on the windshield? What will look better?
You have the info for best window tinting?

Yeah, I think I am just going to go with acura of escondido, its only 35 min from my house anyway...they should ship fast. As far as the warranty is concerned, has anyone run into any issues?

i don't think the warranty will be effected because most of the comptech parts are bolt-ons and have a 2 year warranty. furthermore, if you get an authorized dealership to install it, i'm sure the acura warranty will still be upheld.

where in san diego are you located? my parents are in chula vista

b827 you can get Acura of Escondido to install the short shifter. If you want Acura's warranty to stand you have to have the work done by an authorized dealer. AofE's nstall prices are actually very good for a dealer. Out of curiosity I asked how much they charge to install the comptech swaybar and they said $50, where Cush wanted $145

Yeah I ordered the SS and I am going to order the RSB, and just have acura of Escondido install them both at the same time, while they also fix my RATTLE on the rear speaker deck!!
Thanks again for the suggestions!

We actually have an installer that does alot of work for us guys down here in San Diego. He has unbelievable prices! Charged me $20 to install the sway bar. I'm sure you could get both of those installed by him for the price of one install from AofE. This guys family owns a Honda Dealership here where I purchased my car. he has done mulitple jobs for me and others in the area. PM me if you would like contact info for him.
