haha i went through this recently

how many miles does your car have?
if you are under 50K, purchase through hondacuraworld.com
best bang for the buck
another choice is going to a honda dealer
not acura but honda
because the honda warranty is the same as the acura one but acura jacks up the price because they have acuracare "oooohaaaaah"
honda is the same thing but cheaper.
for me, i purchased it through honda for $1800 for a 4 yr 50k mile warranty for my 53400 miles 04 TL with $50 deductible
acura quoted me $2900 for 4 yr 48k mile with $100 deductible

soo to sum it up
if under 50k miles = hondacuraworld.com
if over = local honda dealer

Other than the price, what are the differences between the warranty providers? I've been researching warranties from my local Acura dealer, hondaacuraworld.com, and curryacuracare.com. Can anyone help explain the difference? It is a pain to submit claims if you don't have a warranty through your dealer?

I just looked on the hondacuraworld website, and a 60month/60k mile warranty for a 2004 or newer RL with up to 40,000 miles is $800. Where are you guys seeing the $1000 plus prices? Am I missing something?

WeBargain4U.com has a dealer that can do Acura Care 4/48 for $1200 with $0 deductible and $1100 for $100 deductible. I am sure it depends on the year and state you live in. They also work with OEM warranties for other makes of cars...

Stick with Acuracare if you're going to purchase an extended warranty. It's the genuine product from Honda and you don't have to worry about the company going out of business (not likely, I'd say), plus it should be easier to get the work done if needed.

Purchasing online from a Honda or Acura dealer will save you money if your dealer is unwilling to match the price. After the contract is processed, any Honda/Acura dealer that pulls up your VIN will see that you have extended coverage.

My dealership's service department confirmed this, even though I purchased the contract elsewhere.
