Now those are some classy looking keys ....
I'm betting we'll be able to "upgrade" in the future, but the dealer will charge a small fortune for the priviledge.
When I had an IS-300, the dealer told me that it would be $300 dollars to replace a lost key, which was integrated as shown above. Needless to say that key got treated well!

Honda Inspire Card Key - how it works...
(Translated using Babel Fish http://babelfish.altavista.com/babel...t%2Findex.html)
(look at all the other nice features they get on the Insight!)
Carry your Card Key

near your car

Touch the handle... and you are in

you can then start the car without the key.

I wonder if TL's can be retrofit.

I agree that it'd be nice to have the keyless entry functions on the key fob... I've removed a key/remote combo for another car from my keyring because it became too bulky to carry in my pocket.
Is anyone else surprised that the TL's key isn't the "wave" style (Honda's term) key where the pattern is not cut all the way through the key? My girlfriend's '03 Civic and mom's '04 Pilot both have this style of key and in those cars they tout the key's anti-theft benefits. I thought it'd be a no-brainer that they include it on all new models.

I also like the VW/Audi key-fobs. A tad bulky but it is entirely integrated with a cool 'switchblade' mechanism.
America BLOWS!!!
