Door Handle Cap

The cap, like the one people buy for the keyhole cap mod, but on my rear door fell off or got broken off. I was wondering if somebody had a link to a website where I can purchase a new one. I dont want to go to the dealership beacause I think I can get it for cheaper online.
Thanks.

It's in one of these threads from the 3G Garage. They are only about $11 from the dealer, but I think there is at least one source in the threads where it is cheaper.

This happened to me last summer. The dealer replaced it for free under warranty.

Same here. Cost me nothing, and they had one in stock. Took them 10 minutes to find it, bring it to me, and snap it on. No problem.

Have people had a lot of problems with this???

I've had my TL for 5 months and the passenger front and back have both fallen off. Dealer said 'this happens'........Doesn't that seem funny???

Maybe someone has heard of our door lock mod and is collecting these covers?

I have heard of one falling off, that I remember, but that was a long time ago and as the number of TL's increases, it's possible that the number of covers falling off will increase proportionately.

After Kracker busting my chops. I finally ordered one.

Acura911. Go to www.spoilerdepot.com and look up the spoiler for your car. Then select the color and it will show you the paint codes.

My door cap came off on the right pasenger side. Really freaky when you grab the handle and see the missing cap and bare metal staring at you. Went to the dealer. They were very casual about it: happens more than you think. He ordered a new one, took a week to come in, then just snapped it back in place. He mentioned that sometimes they have to take the inside door cover off to adjust the screws holding the plate down. Was not necessary here. Was covered under warranty. Hope the other door handle caps stay on!

same with me, both my front and rear passenger ones broke off. however my dealership made me pay for it saying that it happens quite often and can't be covered under warranty. BS. i saved the receipt though, because i have a feeling it'll happen again. this way i can go on a yelling spree at the dealership.

My driver's side rear door cap just fell off last weekend while washing my car. Dealer is replacing it under warranty!

Part is on order though, as they didn't have it in stock. Should be here in a week. Hopefully they are getting more than one, and I can buy an extra. That would be cool to not have the keyhole!
