Don't take your 3G for granted!

You never know when it might be gone...or at least when someone else might decide they want it.
...And then what happens, when they realize they can't have it.

Wow, what an asshole. Too bad he was cutting most of the wrong wires... Really not sure what he was going to accomplish either, if there was a way to just cut and tap a few of the immobilizer wires my job would be much easier for remote starts. And of course the thief always gets frustrated and starts taking out the anger on the rest of the car for god knows what reason. Probably desperate and thought it would be an easy steal because it's manual... I hope the owner caught him in the act and beat him to a pulp.

I keep telling myself I'm not going to go too crazy with electrical mods with my TL but seeing stuff like this makes me want to put a 2way alarm w/ GPS in this just like my last car. Been having a tough time adjusting to not having a 2way remote, I feel disconnected from my car.

I feel bad for the owner, but you really shouldn't own a nice car if you live or work in a bad part of town where shit like this happens.

This happens in the nicest of neighborhoods. Or if you work in a downtown area like I do...Well, you get my point I hope.

Negative. There are a couple of threads about how to add glass break and tilt sensors to the factory alarm. Otherwise, you'd have to go aftermarket.

The TL does have LoJack if you pay for the activation.

Man seeing stuff like this makes me SICK! I hate to hear that happened man, and I hope everything works out in your favor I'd sit up at night and watch my car, then if it gets tampered with I'd fire off a round in the air! As for the lojack, that is already installed and just has to be activated? I understood that as being an "option" when purchasing the car new?

When I bought my 08 TL-S it seems the device is already in the car because it's installed in a hard to get to location and it just needs to be activated. I could be wrong (ask my wife).

Huh? That's news to me. It's not an option on acura.com. Some dealers will offer it as a dealer add on....but the TL doesn't just come with LoJack as far as I know.

Wow, that would've really pissed me off to see that much damage done to my car. I could live with the anger of a broken window, but to see the other damages is just taking it to another level.

Guys...its not his car.

Sucks to see that though. I'm lucky I park in the garage every night. Even then, hell I set off my car alarm sometimes. Reaching in through an opened window and pressing the "unlock" button while your keys are in the house isn't a good idea. Nor is simply pulling up on the lock pin while the car is locked. Tends to startle the neighbors.

That sucks. I take it this happened in Canada because the speedo is outlined in KM/H format.

Why would someone even bother going thru this much trouble to "try" and steal the car? Waste of me sharing my oxygen with these douchebags!
