Do our windows roll themselves down...?

Okay the first couple times this happened I blew it off and thought I was crazy. Now it just happened and I'm 100% sure of it. About 3 or 4 times now, when I've parked my car with the windows shut and locked it like normal, I've came back to find all four windows open an inch or so. It's really creeped me out, and I can't figure out what's up. Is this a normal thing? The only thing I can think of, is that every time this has happened it has been very hot outside... and maybe the car does that to help regulate the temperature...? Though skimming through the owner's manual I didn't see anything... and what if it's hot out but pouring rain??? Maybe I'm crazy, but is this normal?

Hi,

So you are saying, you pull up all of your windows, shut off the car, get out, press lock on the keyfob, walk away.... When you come back, before you even press on the keyfob to open the doors, your windows are down an inch all around? That's like a ghost phenomenon right there...

You may open the windows yourself without releasing it, holding the unlock button on the keyfob, will open the windows... Same as putting the key in the driver's door and holding into open position, will open all windows...

When you see that all of your windows are opened by one inch, what about your sunroof?

Sunroof has never been open at all when it's happened... Maybe those specific times I have held the unlock button for too long...? I kind of doubt it, and didn't know that rolled down the windows, but that could be it. But yeah, it's almost like a ghost phenomenon like you said. It's really creepy.

R U being sarcastic? The windows roll down and the sunroof opens when u hold down the unlock button. If u let it go, the windows will stop where they're at. U can press it agian to roll them down the rest of the way. Can somebody post the link up to where u can roll you're windows back up. I remember seing it, but forgot where.

for general operation of the cars systems may I offer a free copy of the owner book direct from Honda- online read or download as you need
click year then model- it opens a pdf file and you move the hand over Index and click- from there go anywhere inside the book you need to
https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...01_OMANUAL.asp
There are good tips on the braking system and traction control you want to know about.... before it kicks in during `what it thinks` is an emergency!

enjoy!

PS. fyi... if the windows roll down about an inch, the sunroof would not be open, my windows are usually down 2-3 inches before the sunroof begins to open

now if it just came with remote operated engine start!, instead of making you have one installed-
then you can start the car from a distance...say, coming outside when the baking sun has an interior temp of 140 going---- on leather seats- and your friend is wearing shorts
