Question Is the speed of windshild wiper adjustable?

the wiper of TL is not rain automatic adjustable, the first shift is too slow(acceptable), the second shift is too fast for the rain locally, I asked the local dealer, they said no way to adjust the speed of the wiper, so it is true? if it is possible to adjust by myself?

thanks

Intermitten... there is a circle you can scroll. It has 7-8 levels of speed.

The basic wiper speed is set by the wiper stalk. The end of the wiper stalk is a knob- twist/turn the knob to adjust the wiper blade speed for finer adjustment of the wiper speeds.

The on-line owners manual is at https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...01_OMANUAL.asp (also linked through the 3G Garage).

I think when he says speed he means the speed at which the wipers move, not the length of delay between the time they move. You know how when you push the wiper lever up to mist, the wipers move across the windshield really fast, but when you push the level down, they move slower?

if you mean how fast the swipe is, then no. If you mean the time delay, yes, use the inner scroll knoby thing.

hehe, thanks everybody, my English is not good enough, what I mean is the intermission, the time delay, not the speed of the wiper itself. yeah, I really need to read the manuals.

Thanks again.

The fastest speed on "intermittent" is the same as the slower of the two "continuous" speeds. The difference between using that setting and the continuous setting is that with the continuous setting, your wipers keep going when you stop (at a red light, toll booth, traffic jam, etc.), whereas on intermittent they will slow to the slowest setting when you stop, and when you take your foot off the brake they will immediately make one swipe and then they will return to constant wiping when you start moving at more than a minimal crawl.
