Dialing Phone Menus

Many (most) company numbers first put you in a voice menu, or you have to dial an extension. These are numbers you have programmed into your phone.

Is there a way to dial it with the bluetooth? BMW and MB have keypads that allow you to enter numbers. I am looking for a way to do it here before I finalize my order.

Thanks,

David

They really need to add a Phone keypad to the TL's nav system screen. It'd probably take all of 8 man-hours to build it, since the NAVI already can dial numbers from the POIs.

Hi All,
I do not have a 04 TL yet, but hopefully by end of Feb.

I have been reading the manual <grin> and I think you can press the HFL talk button and say "send 123" or whatever digits you want it to dial while you are on a call, as opposed to "dial" or "call" to make the call initially.

Hey, David - How did you get your hands on an 04TL manual?

Should be three steps, "send", "123", "send".

If possible, it's better to use your own Cell to keyin those selection. You will hate to use HFL voicing your commands very soon.

Hi ¿GotJazz?,

I got the owners manual and service manuals online from
http://www.helminc.com

Click on Aftermarket, then select Acura from the dropdown
and it will prompt you from there.

Owners manual was $37 and Service manual was $69.

Regards,

David

I've tried this without much success. Here's the problem:

After you press the HFL button and say "send 123", the system says "1-2-3. Say send or enter additional numbers". Even interrupting the voice to confirm send, most voicemail systems will "time out" because it's taken too long.

Any work-arounds?

What I've done is program the pin number, or extension number with a voice tag such as "code", "pin", "my extension", etc. and it works very well.

This works with voicemail, but not new corporate menus and extensions. Or have you found a way to make it work for those?
