Don't make it easy for the thieves
After reading some of the literature in the black leather binder, I understand that there is a code associated with the radio that will not allow it to be used if it is disconnected from the car (stolen). You need the code to be input to reactivate it. This is a good idea except I bet that most of you keep the leather binder with the code in your glove box.
This makes it really convenient for a thief to get your radio and your code at the same time. I know that removing the code from the car will not avoid a radio theft but it would give me satisfaction that the low life can't use it.

It doesn't FIT in the glove box, unless that's the only thing you put there! I keep it at home. The only things from the folder that I keep in the car are the NAVI manual and the wheel lock key.
