So I recently bought some Cree LEDs from JLC for my reverse tail lights, however one of them has been flickering since I installed them. I have tried calling them and emailing them to no avail. Has anybody had any issues with these LEDs or have any advice on how to deal with these people? I was considering contacting the BBB.

I was hoping to get an exchange before I started looking for a refund. Their site states all their products have a thirty day return policy so I was going to wait until I got closer to that thirty day deadline came closer to contact PayPal. Or is it probably a good idea to contact them now? I'm only hesitant because I know they used to be a vendor here kn AZ so they do have some credibility and because of that I wanted to give them a chance.

 

How many days has it been since you tried to contact JLC? I would give them a week and then call PayPal after no response.

 

I had sent them an email 9 days ago, and then another follow up 2 days ago (not to mention 3 unanswered phone calls). I'll give them a few more days before I contact paypal.

 

I think you've given them enough time. I know its during the holidays but they could've at least responded to your emails by now.

Do you have a back-up camera by chance? I ask because if you do, JLC are garbage for your back-up camera... Hot spot galore with JLC reverse lights. If you want usable light for the back-up camera like my avatar than V-LEDs is the way to go... I even made a comparison thread with pictures of both.

 

Yeah I've read the hundreds of threads, and no I don't have a backup camera. To be honest with the one proper working one I can actually see a quite decent amount and I only got them because they were reduced to a $20 price.

I've had great results with superbrightleds and vleds and since jlc used to be a vendor I figured it would be easy to deal with them. So much for how that turned out..
