Like RBP you goin to need a kit. Considering the bulbs are 9006, NON HID. You need a kit. I just ordered a 3000K HID kit. Hopefully it looks HOTT, not a big fan of the blue, because I only use the Fogs when I need them, otherwise they off. Because I love the look of just the projectors being on.

Careful with "blue" lights in the front.

They may draw unwanted attention from local . Most states do not allow Blue or Red Lights on the front end of a vehicle.

Blue/White or Bright White shouldn't be a problem, just don't go with a pure blue.

blue lights = cheap shit...

rebased, cheaply made import HID bulbs at 8000K + and low quality ballasts... Nothing "illuminating" about them... Just, OMFG, my fogs are blue.

I have this kit in my TL in 6000K. It's a little pricey but they are the best you can buy IMO. The ballasts and bulbs are waterproof so weather conditions and worrying about them getting wet are of no matter. The beam spread is also accurate, I have yet to have been flashed by oncoming traffic so far and I've hadem for about 6 months so far. Good luck

3000K usually means yellow. Yellow ones are the way to go for functional fog-lights. Nowadays there are variations of green, red, etc. (not recommended)

4300K is stock.

6000K gets you a clean nice whitish color.

8000K will get you a nice hint of blue. It's what I have and I recommend.

10,000 is much more blue and looks cool but it may be hard to see on a rainy night. Just be forewarned that you will have to put up with straining your eyes a bit.

10,000+ is too much color. There are blue and purple varieties of this. You are asking for trouble, not recommended, you won't be able to see properly.

$350??? Why? HID kits used to cost that much back in 2003. I see they are made in Japan but they don't look to be worth 4 times more than other HID systems. You really think they're as good as Philips, GE, Osram, Hella, or Matsu. The ballast and igniter are in 2 seperate cases? No thanks.

anybody know of a good place to get the straight yellow look? i guess it would be 3000k? (not sure) i think the yellow fogs compliment the true HID low beams better than any other color or light......sort of like lexus does stock.....dont shoot!! i just said lexus..lol..

the stock bulb is a halogen H8 bulb. and i only paid $250 for my HID conversion kit. but if you're trying to get yellow out of a halogen bulb, it wont even compare to an HID kit. i put yellow halogen's in my fog's & aside from the fact that they "looked" different, they definitely did not improve lighting. as you can see from the pic's, the HID fog's light up the road like crazy. you wont get that from a halogen bulb.
