Hi to All, new member here with a question on window tint for the TL type s w/ NAV. I was told you can only use ceramic window tint b/c of the GPS is this correct or can you use the standard mettalic tint.

I think you've got it. Metallic window tint use is discouraged.

make sure you use moleskin and that the tinter does the small rear window right.The tint should go under the window gasket.

I have metallic Llumar tint....no issues with any radio/NAV reception whatsoever...

 

that crap pisses me off so much with that rear 1/4 window. How are they suppose to get under that gasket to install the tint. When I had mine done he didn't get under there and it looks like garbage. Any recommendations?

 

That gasket is very lose for him to work with.I would take back and show them just how lost the gasket is and for them to fix it.Just would take him a little more time to do it right.
