Thumbs down Big dumb trucks

Why is it not illegal for huge trucks with like 12" and bigger lifts to still be able to drive on city streets, or harley's with loud exhausts that make my house shake? :thefinger It's CRAZY! :rocketwho

I don't have a problem with stock trucks like the Ford Harley, more with the trucks that are like monster trucks with 20" lifts that are never taken off road. You don't need a truck that big for city driving, IT'S DANGEROUS! Trucks like the one below...

I can't see how somthing like that would pass any DOT requirement for bumper height, etc.

We need more enforcement on this type of thing.

A buddy of mine had an F250 on 44" tires with a 16" lift. The thing was huge and PITA to get in. I had to climb up the front tire to get in. Getting out was a little scary too. He would get tickets regurlarly and eventully switched to smaller tires, I think 30" and a smaller lift.

The point is these trucks do get ticketed. But just like any other mod's that aren't DOT aproved, people will do it as long as they get away with it. Maybe instead of giving fix it tickets they should inpound the vehicle until it is made street legal. That would would sure make people think twice about doing such mod's in the future.

Don't these fools worry about rollovers? What is the point of these mods? They do nothing for performance except if you're entering a bigfoot contesst!
