Aftermarket Grill

Okay I have searched the internet and the forum with no luck.

I have a KBP S and I want to black out the grill because it looks sick but I was hoping to be able to buy an aftermarket gill that is already black. I dont care if it is not the stock grill as long as it looks good.

What i am asking is if anyone knows a decent site that has aftermarket gills for TL-S

Thanks for the help

Doesnt exist. Anyone with an "aftermarket" look has done it themselves. Sorry! There is one out there for the 04-06 grill, but nothing for the 07+, and there probably never will. Most either color match it or wrap in vinyl.

Wrap it in black vynl, cut out the center bar, and put in some gutter guard mesh. It's a real clean look, you should be able to find pics on the site somewhere.

What I did for mine:

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/facelift-whip-work-progress-795303/

The screws with the finish washers/collars have been replaced with pan heads, so they're a lot less noticeable and the screws within the grill face have been hidden.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can go this route https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/e-073-diy-custom-grill-mod-cutting-adding-grill-mesh-lots-pics-748647/

Let me know what route you end up taking. I'm interested in seeing what a KBP with custom grill would look like.

yea theres an aftermarket grill. Took me awhile to find it but its out there. I put it on my 07 type s. Your gonna have to chop up your bumper though lol. Cost me 230 shipped plus getting it painted and labor for cutting up my bumper and mounting it. I used my own hardware also due to the shitty quality of the bolts sent to me with the grill. It included the hood molding, and front grill. Comes black primered. PM if for more details if you still wanna do this mod.

Thanks for the link akrapovic. After seeing it on a KBP, I'm indifferent about it. The type-s badge you added to yours definitely adds a nice touch. Without the badge, it looks too bare. I'm not a big fan of the small dip near the top middle. Any reason it isn't flush across?
