6MT w/Navi order question

When speaking to my dealer yesterday, he indicated that if I wanted a 6MT TL w/navi, that I should order. He also indicated that it would take about 6 or 7 weeks for the car to be delivered.

Does this sound accurate based on your previous experience?

Thanks

Yep. In my case, my Anthracite/6MT/Nav was order mid november and I got it last week-end. So it took about 5 weeks.

Worth the wait

Thanks for your help. I was just curious to see if this dealer was throwing me a curve.

Goofy MD

This particular had about 4 or 5 manuals, but none of his cars (including Auto's) had the Navi system.

I love the car, but the non-Navi display is severly lacking.

Thanks

I think it depends on the color (exterior and interior). Ebony on black and Anthracite on are popular in my area and they were available when I was looking. But I was looking for Quartz on Silver and this was rare, so I have to order.

If you are flexible with colors, I think your dealer should be able to find / trade one pretty quickly.

I ordered mine back in Early Aug and got mine on 10/31. No regret at all. I was quoted from Dealer about getting the car around End of Nov or Early Dec. But, I got mine about a month early. But I know there are more than 30 people behind me. But, it's worth of wait.

I walked into a dealer, asked for Anthracite/Ebony/6MT WITH NAVI and I am picking the car up on Monday!!! AND I got it for over 1300 UNDER INVOICE!!!! Very happy, cant wait to post pics. Just call around, if they have it grab it and dont pay MSRP, dont give them that bull that they are the only one in the surrounding state that have that car, its the end of the month/year, they want to deal.

Ok, seriously, $1,300 UNDER INVOICE for a 6MT Navi??? There's no way possible such a deal could be had for any car like the TL for $1,300 under invoice. No way.

If that's the case, I'll buy as many of them as they can get me and resell them for a profit.

I swear, I live in NYC and went to Ralley Acura on Long Island. The numbers are tough to show but I worked it backwards and its 1300. Its a lease 42 months/15k a year with protection package (wheel locks, mud flaps, cargo liner) BUT I traded a car in which really is only valued at $6500 (verified this with 3 dealers) and they gave me $6900 (thats what I owed and I didnt want to kick in extra money to get rid of the car). I put 2K down and its $474 a month.

The MSRP for this car is $35,195 which includes destination. The INVOICE for this car is $32,120. So, what you're telling me is that they calculated your lease off of a Capital Cost of $30,820 which is $1,300 below invoice for a grand discount total of $4,375?? If that's the case, your monthly payment would be $400 per month and not $474.

I'm not sure what NYC does with sales tax but I figure based on your lease term and miles, to get at a $474 payment on a Navi you would have had to have a Cap Cost of roughly $33,595 which would mean a $1,600 discount from MSRP. Your $2,000 down probably included first payment and financing fee which leaves you with about $1,000 as a true Cap Cost reduction. My guess is that they gave you the 6MT for a $600 discount from MSRP.

Just my $0.02 though......sorry, your line of $1,300 UNDER INVOICE about made me hop a plane to NYC and buy the car right now.

There we go.....that makes me feel a bit more sane at 8:00 a.m. on Christmas Eve. Of course, it is snowing here in the Midwest which adds to my frozen fogginess for a brain.
