I hurt the bottom of my feet somehow so I'm taking a break from jogging...having to monitor intake to make up for it too. Helps that I stopped drinking altogether.

Yeah, that's hard on the feet and knees. Elliptical machine and/or treadmill may be better...I am going to "fast track" my cardio today by running the stairs in the ravine nearby.

H is right.., stick to the elliptical if you want to keep your ass shaking. It's really easy on the joints. Not the 99% joints. The other joints.

I'm nearly 40 but yeah, in decent shape. I would like to be more shredded but I think I'm at the point of my life to achieve that, it would be too inconvenient. And I do like to have good food on occasion.
I'm sure Maj has a perspective since he's well-versed on it too but to get that 8 or 6 pack is relatively easy. Go about 3 weeks of nothing but steamed veggies and chicken breast. You control your salt via literally, those mini-packs you can steal from food courts. ONE little pack per meal. That's it. Drink water. Not allowed to consume anything else except the items I just listed.
Boom 3 weeks. Bwuce Ree.

You need carbs still... carbs fuel muscles... you get some from veggies, but likely not enough.
You can have toned abs with definition, without going overboard. If you want shredded abs, then yeah... but that is not sustainable. Takes the fun out of living lol.

I just put a dry dry rub on my chicken and that's it. just watch how much salt is in the dry rub... make your own if you're keen. Plus with the grill, some of the chicken fat drips off. And dat grilled taste...
