@Yumcha is there an off-topic thread for robots and stuff? I got a box from my folks yesterday with some old toys, including two robot cars that aren't Transformers. Want to see if the braintrust (you) have any ideas.

tool wise, it came with the driver and small impact.
I don't really need them, but it came with a bag, charger and two small batteries.
I really like the dewalt series so I'm looking to invest in them more and more
We can't all be whores and just buy them all like you.

I heard the recip saw has design issues, particularly the trigger.
Do you know if the flexvolt one fixed the issue?

So I learned apparently the Flexvolt just refers to the battery and the tool is typically the same as before . Was it the XR (brushless) or regular recip that had the issue?

They may have just released a new revision of the XR recip that fixed the issue but I'm not sure. Like I said Flexvolt just refers to the battery according to the rep. I asked because I when I bought the drill driver combo, I asked the difference between the Flexvolt versus XR and she said no difference in the tools themselves

Dude the XR drill is a fucking beast.. I almost broke my teeny wrists drilling through joists because of the torque ... I should use that handle more often
