I wish. I spent Monday just physically tired. Liter-a-coffee didn't help and chugging Extreme Monster Energy Drink Yo didn't help. Figured I needed more sleep. Woke up Tuesday with a little bit of a scratchy throat and did the same liter-a-coffee and Sick Jump Bro Monster drink regimen to no avail. Yesterday I actually called it a day at 1:30 and went home to bed. I've never done that before.

And rather than infect the whole office, I've decided to just stay home and drink Lysol and orange juice to try to kick.

Gonna need some pho later.

Well actually, this is one of the first times I've stayed out.

Typically, I figure if I'm going to be miserable, I might as well be miserable at work. I'll call in and take off days when I'm feeling well.

But the kicker this time was when I found myself sitting at my desk yesterday, staring at my monitor and not comprehending what I was reading. So I took a second, put my face in my hands, and closed my eyes. About 3 minutes later, when I woke up, I realized that if I'm going to sleep on the clock, I should just do it at home in bed.

Whenever I'm ill now, I just stay home and not travel.. I made the mistake a few times of trying to be macho and just going to work anyway and spent many a days laying in my hotel bed dying alone. It was the shittiest feeling ever...

I'm still feeling like pounded dogshit, WagonJr's preschool closed for Good Friday so I'm working from home for a few hours, wrangling him, and trying not to piss off the wife, who I evidently got sick with whatever​ garbage this is that I brought home from the public toilets.

Need to wrap up a home decorating arts and crafts project I've been working on, and we'll probably go see how the water in Galveston is this weekend.

Oh, and I'll probably be drinking beer because cul0wife says there's too much in the pantry.
