Flippy, my company gives me an extra day off every two weeks too. It's glorious. I prefer to take Mondays off, but this week I'm taking the Friday.

Why Mondays? Well... I feel when there is a Friday long weekend, the 4 days leading up to it seem to drag on. And then Monday comes around and it's a full 5 days again. Doesn't feel like a long weekend at all!

But with the Monday off, man, coming back on a Tuesday feels awesome

Depending on which agency you work for and the discretion of the division you're in they will allow you to work a 9/8/80 which is what I am on or a 10/4/40.

When i was at my first client, i had requested an alternate work schedule to avoid traffic. People did 9-5 I did 7-3, went to the gym at 5:30, got into work at 7. Left at 3 and went home to bike a few hours... oh those were the days... i loved that schedule because fuck LA traffic

I loved when I worked 6-230 because I was able to do shit after work. But now I don't want to start before 7 because gym. I don't like going after work because it's more crowded. Granted there isn't much eye candy at 4:30 in the morning but that's better for me....

Yes, LA traffic sucks ass.

Also, I do not have the option to work from home. I worked Overtime from home and it sucked. I think it's harder when you have kids too and work from home.

We got the samsung side by side showcase when we bought the house...pretty cool...ice maker is annoying and sometimes needs to be reset and gives you one cube every 10 seconds...water comes out fast as fk. Pretty cool...just realized the frame was never squared when we installed it so the door wouldn't self close and the freezer door would snag. Fixed that sunday...

got it on open box for $1800 from HHGregg...originally like 3K.
