Hey BuffetBoy!

Swell enough. Back to the grind now.

Wow.

That's crazy man. I did 20,267 miles between work and personal travel, and that's a lot for me. So not quite one trip around the globe - I'd wind up in an ocean or something.

I only got an airmiles card about a year ago, and in that year I've garnered enough points for a free flight from Calgary to Vegas. looks like I'm going to Vegas alone!!

Where's that bunny ranch again?

Didn't do it. It's not in budget. Plus I don't know wtf I want. So for the mean time I'll have fun with the Explorer.

Plus the wife is a stay at home mom now.

Daycare cost $2k for 2 kids.. Well a little under 2k, makes no sense.

Maybe next year when I get my 14k raise.

Honestly, that's a good plan, man. It would suck to buy something and then have buyer's remorse afterwards.

New cars consistently come out. Used cars consistently become cheaper. You've got nothing but time to think about what you want/need. And if you're only driving for 2 minutes a day, what's the point on upgrading anyway?

The Explorer is gangster as-is.

Man, I thought for sure you were going to pull the trigger on that one.

Good call though. You may not know what you want, but good for you on knowing what is prudent (or not) financially.

Flip, just make sure the milk/mail man isn't coming around too often. And if he is, call Majofo. He'll take care of him.

It was either go back to work and pay 2k for daycare and bring home maybe 800-1000 a month. Take into consideration spending time, cooking, gym etc. It would make a unhealthy relationship. Or stay at home.

Of course she picked stay at home.

I told my dad yesterday..... I feel like a grown up now...... But of course I have to put my family first.

What? You're confusing the hell out of me. :canaduh:

daycare costs 2k/month. Wife makes 3k/month, but is away from home and comes home tired after a long day and has kids to pick up/take care of, make dinner, whatever. So what's the point?

This way Flip loses 1k/month, but also has a much happier wife and children, which makes his life happier and easier, so it's worth it.

Need to catalog the purse and shoe inventory though so you can know when unreasonable amounts of new ones start showing up... and the Accord fund is going down.
