It was actually pretty cool...it's a little odd to feel like you're shooting a video game while unloading live ammo. Shot my buddy's .45 1911...very accurate...then my G19...next accurate...his Ruger 9 was least accurate, as can be expected.

Next time I go, I'll be going to the paper range...I like traditional shooting better. An hour for $15 doesn't seem too bad for me.

Yeah man, did a deposit back in December. Finished the deal yesterday morning and took her home. I wanted to wait another couple weeks, but after waiting three months already, my patience grew thin, lol.

Took the Miata out today. I was the first car at the lights at the start of the freeway. I turned off the traction control and pushed the throttle 50% down when the lights turned green. Started off the line just fine but then I pushed the throttle down about 75% and the ass end starts fish tailing in a beautifully controlled manner. Left, right, left, right, straight.

Couldn't wipe the shit eating grin off my face as I see the cars get small in the mirror.

I'm in love.

Can't wait until it gets warmer so I can get better traction with the current tires.
