It's more than just driving.. it's the design itself. If you do get it, and don't mind the way it shifts, definitely don't hold onto it out of warranty or sell it before the miles pile on after it's out of warranty.

I have taken out the "N" word in this thread (as of late).

Good thing I got rid of my Accord then. I hear horror stories from people about CVT but maybe since I only had the car for 2 years.

I know Jeremy, but we will hold ourselves to a higher standard here on AcuraZine. I know it's not meant in a demeaning way. But we are ALL better than that (to use that kind of language here on this Forum).

I rented a Maxima with a CVT. It was jerky and you couldn't hold gears, it was always playing around. But I drove the shit out of it. It would sometimes be like.. what gear should I get in? So there would be a delay when hammering it down. I could live with it.. but I'd always be paranoid about the day it takes a shit.
