you and my wife been texting?
So little baby J gets to have 2 torquefree little old ass hondas and BETTY can now go make new V friends with her new V that she lets me drive less than the SRX?
Honestly...she does 70 miles a day to work...she'd literally shitttt on that light colored interior if she was getting 10 mpg consistently.

Well.. 10K over an older and higher mileage sedan that is.. it's not really that inflated when you compare it to a same year, mileage, sedan.. maybe a couple K.
Like I said.. this is all talk, and that's fine. Butt if you really are serious. You need to be serious when talking to B. No.. hey babe, the price on this vagon dropped.. what do you think??
It has to be.. Babe, no BS, I want to buy this ride. Srs.

If it's for another Vagon...I'll sit tight for another few months before I bring it up...when the dust settles from that little expenditure coming up, we'll see what's what and have a clear understanding of the budget at that point...if there even is one.
Until then, I'll just keep waxing my banana and my TL.

the funny thing is you're absolutely right...even going to pass some snotfuckface that's driving slow or being a lane ride prick, her idea of flooring it is depressing the pedal another quarter inch...
she gets like 22 MPG in that pig...when I drive it...it drops to like 15.

speaking of having a powerful car and a TL...I wonder how Matt is doing.
I also saw that Dan DM posted somewhere on the forum earlier this month. I thought that ninja was ded. I want a refund on the flowers I sent his grave.

you knew that TL inside and fuckin out...I don't doubt that you miss it. I'm certain once the blood rushes back to my brain from my dumb tiny dick that gets a one track mind when I want something...
I'll be pretty sad to see the TL (and possibly) the S2000 gone.
Pretty sad is not even real...I'll be devastated. You're not supposed to get attached to cars...but it's hard not to.

Look at Chip...sold the white TL, bought my S2000...just bought a type S CPB in addition to the S. That mofo is winning at life.
That's my only gripe...I wish it wasn't NBP...for all the work I put into that ho...she is showing her age.

J, I could be completely wrong, but I don't see the V being a suitable DD for you, simply due to fuel economy. And it's not like the S is a suitable DD either. I mean, yeah you can make either one fill that duty, but there's drawbacks to both.
you have a good setup now.

With only driving 5 miles to work, I'm not SUPER concerned about MPG, but I won't say it's not a concern I'm sweeping under the carpet in my mind.

Wife is a billion percent against learning to drive stick. She claims that since she's a south paw, it's not really possible for her to be comfortable doing it. She drove my RSX around the block on our first date...did just fine but she got stressed out.
Last night I was on an unfamiliar road with dim street lights and bottomed out the hardest I've ever felt before but everything seemed ok. Today I was in the drive thru getting my coffee and as I inch forward I hear a rattle, then get to work and back into my spot and I see smoke coming from my hood.... ruh roh!
I haven't had any issues with the TL since I stopped driving back n forth to Austin everyday but now I'm a little nervous of what I may find.
Starting on trouble shooting here in a bit, just got to get it home first

I'm a leftie and driving stick isn't an issue. She just needs to get over the initial fear.
Buuut... Consider all the backwards countries that drive on the wrong side... The majority of those people are righties and manage shifting with their offhand just fine!
It's a learned skill and frankly, if she never learned, it won't be unwiring the brain and then rewiring like it would be if you needed to learn to shift in a RHD car. Should be just the same.
And even trying to learn switch handed isn't impossible. Heck, if I, a random internet stranger, can claim to have learned ing with my left even though I natively went right... She can figure out a manual.
Something I've observed is that sig others tend to be nervous when you try to teach, but someone else might be less implied pressure.
I think they call that cuckolding?
