the mustang OEM wheels are pretty aggressive in specs.
18x9.5 + low offset up front and 18x10 + low offset in rear.
I think the design of the spokes stick out a little.
Discount tire did not protect the wheel from the claw machine grabbing. the claw machine gouged TWO wheels.
For Economy cars, this is fine, as the spokes arent near as aggressive as the mustang wheels.
he's been fighting with them for about three weeks now.
every time he visits, he sees them mishandling the wheels..... placing face of wheel on cement, etc.
the car has been on jack stands for almost a month and he's still paying a note.

yeah, he let them "fix" them at first. but apparently not up to his standards and asked to replace both wheels.
DT's insurance is picking up the cost of both wheels, but it still feels like DT manager is still trying to pull a fast one.
DT wants the two messed up wheels back, once he receives two new wheels.

he just bought the car a month ago.
he couldnt drive the car for a month because discount had two wheels. (they didnt offer to help him with loaner wheels or loaner car, because he was being reasonable)
he paid car note without even having car.

It literally takes a week turnover to have wheels properly fixed by a shop.. and that's in a regular queue, no rush, and that's me sending wheels out (goes to San Antone and back). A month of bullshit.. I'd burn that fucking place to the ground.
