I use butyl all the time to seal, no problem.
Ohhh I totally missed that detail. But the question remain, butyl in the groove didn't work?

I sealed the headlights like I seal tails...around the outside for ease of reopening...I was experimenting with not putting any in the groove since that is a royal PITA to clean up and open back up. With the sun, it heated and opened a line for rain and water...

Sooo...back to running it in the groove and I pushed the excess over the gap just to be sure. What annoys me is those little stress cracks in the lens...that and the yellowing of the spar/urethane mix I once tried that ran over the edges...but you can't really see that. That worked great, on 1988 grand marquis I'm sure...but on a car where you're particular about perfection...

Ah okay, so you wanted to keep it easy to open for the next time you want to open them because rs143 doesn't stick with 1 design more than a week, and it backfired on you.

I'll be back for some mid-evening rambling. Gotta get the in for the night and then do some studying. And who can do studying without dicking around on the Interwebs?

So prepare your anus!

Which knee did you have done? Clutch knee or go pedal knee? (Hoping go pedal otherwise you'll screw up your PT, mark my words!)

Occam's razor question: is it on because of a fault or because the button is depressed?

Not suicidal depressed, but like clicky clicky depressed...

I asked him and he said he didn't press... I don't trust him LOL. Also he's not in limp mode so I think he just wants to go drifting..

I'll try to find a picture of the button and send it to him and make sure he turns it off

Argh. That sucks. I'm not very familiar with that procedure but hopefully it heals well enough, soon enough so you can be back hooning the S2k.

You're a beast J. Just take it slow. I had a booboo that I regained 90% range of motion pretty quickly but took over a year to get 100%ish. Make sure your lady keeps the billy club near by to keep you in line when you're getting itchy to do too much. Maybe the handcuffs too.
