The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (Trois)
The new SHO is supposed to have decent aftermarket support too, right? My dad used to have a '91 5MT a longgggg time ago and I loved it. If the new Taurus wasn't so huge, I'd consider looking into a SHO for the next ride.

</p><p> </p><p>Yup, I usually do, didn't this time, got fucked over. Put on my thug life tank top and parked the car in the no parking only pickup section for the whole time. </p>
:noob: :pb: Why wouldn't you check your phone BEFORE you got to airport <img alt="" src="images/smilies/rofl.gif" title="rofl" /> Picked up sister from airport on Saturday. She was visiting friends in Detroit then drove to Toronto <img alt="" src="images/smilies/canada.gif" title="Canada" /> (YOUR HOOD CANUCKS!) and flew back from there. Since I had a bunch of miles, bought her tickets in First Class for her so she could experience it. She landed at 7 PM Sat night but I was at a birthday party so just told her to check out the lounge :P (scumbag brother, but it was free because she was flying FC). Picked her up at around 8:30 from Departures to avoid Arrivals traffic <img alt="" src="images/smilies/toocool.gif" title="Too Cool" />

holy crapp.. 55 inch 4K for 1200 bucks plus 400 dell eGift card?!? Sounds like a damn steal..
Looking to get one for the 'rents once their house is completed.. I know Maj likes Sony's but I think an XBR is a bit out of the budget.. I've had a few Samsungs and they have been good to me thus far..

Spaceman, you would have been in paradise this weekend if you worked with me. It's a bit of a story on how he's setup, but suffice to say he likely will end up with 25 lbs once everything is finished drying in 7-10 days.
He's got another garden ready next weekend. And another the weekend after.

Everyone who knows about TVs always talks specs and what works and what doesn't. And yet, unless two TVs are side by side, I can never tell the difference.
Assuming identical size, the difference between a $1500 TV and a $2500 TV isn't always that apparent to me. Side by side, yes, there is a difference. Standing alone, they both look great!

on a wall of led/lcd...there was one plasma that we could see from the counter where we were waiting for a salesperson...the technology was headed out, but the pricing reflected that so we jumped on it.
Love it...sometimes the LED's can look a little surreal even.

Also.. did not notice 60Hz refresh rate... guess you do get what you pay for.

He tried doing hydro on two different occasions... And failed miserably. Lost about 60k in profit on those two harvests.
He always says he has a knew found respect for people who can pull off a good hydro job. I think what killed him was the water temperatures. Everything would be going good for 8 weeks and then bam, AC unit fails, and everything is fucked. He's had several AC units shit the bed over time, but it's apparently much easier to recover from with potted plants as opposed to hydro. There's no going back with hydro.

I have no idea how he did his. I wasn't around for that period. However, his potted results are pretty nuts.

<p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>man, that skunk is awful smelling, mom.</p><p> </p><p>then when we are driving and we pass a real skunk,</p><p>:takesdeepwhiff: man, I love that skunk, mom!</p>
<p></p><p>I had a small setup for myself only in the past while I still lived at my parents under the staircase and with proper handling it didn't smell at all. It was pretty well contained in that respect. The issue was with when it was time to dry it, then I had to use a friend's garage second story.</p>

<p>since my car is loud but not all that fast, an officer pulled me over one time for accelerating.</p><p> </p><p>"Do you know the speed limit"<br />"yes, i do, it's 50 and I stayed under 50"</p><p>"have a good day, sir"</p>
<p></p><p>As long as you don't chirp the tires, drive recklessly or exceed the acceptable noise levels (which are honestly pretty high here, so I can't imagine in TX lol) they have no shit on you, yeah. Many of my friends got pulled over like that but they usually end up with tickets for other things...</p>
