Workout was good, this playlist is getting solid.
Don't worry, at least you're not Taco!
Just teasing. You're still invited to my parties. I don't believe I need to give you my address?
Not a VW fan. It's German, but cheap German, so that's like American...
Whoa don't go all out!
Why do y'all have to give me so much shit?
Well, I dropped my car off at the body shop earlier (not that anyone cares because y'all are too worried about workout playlist and whining about words that Yumcha uses)
Anyhow, I rented a new VW Passat. As soon as I got in it and started driving it, I hated it. Now, a VW CC on the other hand may be a different story. But, an 08 TL is better than a 15 Passat all day long. Hope you guys have a great weekend!

Grabbed the e-book of Leviathan Wakes to read on the work computer ... completely hooked. Best sci fi with elements of noir I've read since Altered Carbon.

Looks like my bad luck continues! Got a ticket this morning for 88mph in a 75mph.
There goes $197
Oh well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. I haven't gotten a ticket in 6 years, and this will make 3 in my life. So overall, I guess I'm not doing too bad.

I was doing 95 when I saw him. I backed off to 88 just before he clocked me. I blame that POS VW Passat. I'm not use to the feel of it and honestly didn't realize I was going that fast.
I've seen some nice Passats, but never driven one. This one is the Wolfsburg Edition. It's a decent car I guess, but just not "me". It's not fun to drive like the TL. If I bought a VW, it would be the CC.

I am!
I should go to bed. There's a meet tomorrow morning. I'm just here, having a drink...tinkering. Just installed a new cabin filter on the S...and put some stormsure on a patch of soft top under the repaired tear in it...cleaned the soft top today, and will do the treatment to it tomorrow or the next day. Once I re-stitch the tear for strength.
also, against my normal judgment...I plastidipped the emblems today. Came out really nice.
Goodnight.

Hwat... another ticket? Jeeze those are some overactive cops. Good thing I drive one route to work every day, and it happens to NEVER have 5-0 on it

Morning guys.
good to see it was quiet this weekend on ramblings, meant you guys were off your computers and enjoying life/your cars/ your women
Sorry to see about the ticket Jamie! My last speeding ticket, officer 'clocked' me at 88 mph too.. I smell BS... was he using a radar/laser/lidar? My officer said "he paced me" but when I saw him, he was speeding UP to me and then lit me up.

Jamie...
Absolute must have. The not tickets will pay for it.
Thanks...well, my idea to seal the heads with the butyl along the seam (as I do with my tails) failed miserable. Somewhere with the heat and pressure, they separated up top so I had leaks. With doing all the work to get bumper off, pay off had to be a different look. I missed the pristine cleared lights anyway. SO...back to smoked oem sidemarkers and decided to make myself my last set of tails. Simple...type S with black bezel.
I'm really happy with how it came out. The old knockoff mu lug nuts actually compliment well, and swapped from 7 to 5MM spacer on Friday on the rear.

Did some light maintenance on the S...changed out the TCT and installed some modifry goodies too.
Don't wanna clutter Ramblings with pics...there are a few new on my thread.

The one on the way to work Saturday morning I deserved. I was definitely doing 88 in a 75. But, yesterday I was in my 18 wheeler work truck. And, it was a CMV enforcement cop that said I was doing 68 in a 60. Cars were flying past me. But, he was a CMV cop.

Neighborhood I work in happens to be fairly affluent, and has a police station almost beside my work (less than 100 m away). Funnily enough ... never cops on the main road leading to work. I guess I should just shut up and not complain?
