MarbleGT posts such awesome shots that I ended up suggesting that he should post his shots in the official thread....if I would have known you were the reason the thread was renamed, I would have left it as is...


and yes, we do get along very well....

 

Background:

There are TWO threads for car photos. The one I had created originally was truly meant for nice images found online...wallpaper stuff...or for those who enjoy collecting high-res car images (I do) on their computer to cycle through during screensavers and etc.

Supertrooper created another great thread which was for images of nice cars you snagged...So, yeah...there is clear difference in the purpose of the 2 threads.

What ended up happening (not naming names, but you can guess), was that people started post their OWN images in BOTH threads. So, I had wondered what was the point of having both and why not just MERGE. Well, that got kiboshed and so, in response to that, I made it clear then: Post your own images in Supertrooper's...other stuff you find online (not your own work) in the other thread.

Pretty black and white. But, naturally, this caused issues...and me being called annoying and a bitch.

 

And what's funny is, I've been name-called many things just for something so black and white...Go figure.

Like I said in the Timepiece thread, Maj, the rep was fine with other gray-market stores...Why go to the effort to single-out Joma?

The rep was pretty adamant about that. She said one of the worst instances was a TAG Caliber 16 that came in with parts she was sure came from Russia and China. The main caliber was still original but, it seemed to had been cannibalized.

So, again...FWIW, take that as a reference. I know some peeps on AZ swear by them...but, given there are other online gray-market shops (i.e. Amazon.com) with good reps, I'll go with alternatives. I'm not saving THAT much to risk something horrid as swapped-out parts.
