Took the boys to this place last Friday...I went to HS next door and had never jumped the fence (hence, my avatar) to check it out in person. Very cool and creepy abandoned vibe.

Cool thing is it was closed 22 years ago after Hurricane Andrew and they're currently working to raise money to revamp it and reopen it...it's either that, or it's getting torn down so we got lucky to check it out before that happens. It's called the Marine Stadium...there is a floating stage that they bring across the bay with the act and the venue holds about 6700 people...used to be for speed boat racing, boxing...my Mother actually saw the DOORS here too.

LOL, thanks, man...yeah, it was my favorite place I took them...plus, added that teenage element of parking in a spot that would get me towed and jumped the fence, had that feeling like, OH NO I'M GONNA GET IN TROUBLE! Keeps us young!
and let's not forget the 1 of 1 Nurburgring edition LFA with full red interior (we think) we spotted on the way to the Heat Game Saturday. Betty was driving the SRX, and we had the camera gear...and guess what...having Betty maneuver traffic to give us the best angles was the absolute SCARIEST!

I remember, the weather was like in the upper 90's and we were driving to Walgreens to get the pregger wifey some Prenatal Vitamins...in the plaza, I saw a homeless guy walking. I took the wifey indoors (in walgreens) and asked her to wait by herself for the prescription. I ran out and found the homeless guy, took him across the street to Sonic (he picked Sonic between, Mc Donalds, Taco Bell and BK, all in the same plaza)...Got him couple beef burgers (his choice) and a large drink and a big cup of water....
the smile on the dude's face was priceless...he hugged me and I went back to Walgreens....
they wifey still kinda makes fun of me that I left her when she was preggers to go 'do some good deed' LOL....
