Happy Monday everyone

J, didn't you just find 4 sprinkler heads not too long ago? Now, 6 more? The previous owners must not have given a shit about maintaining the system at all. Nothing a handyman like you can't fix though.

I think I'll go see American Sniper this weekend. I heard this morning it's about to pass Saving Private Ryan as the top selling war movie of all time.

Where else would I get my cheap gallon of Sunny D?!

Spent the day trying to figure some sprinkler zones out..ended up finding 6 more hidden sprinkler heads that were buried/clogged. That certainly explains the areas that weren't getting water!
Haven't you been finding sprinkler heads for the past month now?

Also I forgot you Americans have weird ass shady liquor stores instead of a government thing.

Hiiiii everyjuan.

Weekend summary:

New head unit in the Yukon. Pioneer NEX-5000. Pimpy as hell. Full writeup here because I don't need to copypasta everything: MMSports.org ? View topic - Big Blue: 2005 GMC Yukon Denali

DC Auto Show is always a semi-letdown, we don't get any of the concepts and only half of the brand-new stuff. It was nice to see the new trucks though. Goofed around in the Sierra, Canyon, F-150 and Ram (Mossy Oak edition!) - Canyon would be a perfect Yukon replacement if I ever did replace and get something with exactly the same capabilities. The F-150 Platinum (the new aluminum-bodied one) was piiiiimp.

The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (Part 2)-bbxauij.jpg

Can't believe Dodge sells this at dealerships.

2000s throwback dance party at the 9:30 Club was a riot. Really good time. Met a dude and we're going on a date on Thursday.

Sold the Firebird yesterday at noon. $2400, guy from Maryland bought it to fix up and give to his fiancee as a surprise.

Bought a trailer yesterday at 4:30. 18' Dively, closed deck, 2006 model year. Dual axle, electric brakes, new inspection. Got it from a friend who's getting out of racing for a while. He threw in the tool box on the front and all the tie-down straps, a floor jack, some other fun spares. $2k.

Productive weekend, and also the shortest length of time I've had $2k in my pocket.

I would say that the amount of $$$ it's pulling v. Private Ryan is the difference in ticket costs now. I thought AS was a great movie. I thought SPR was beyond great, one of the best of all time, war movie or not. Plus, I'm old, I've seen a lot of war movies. Up there with the others is War Horse.

That mossy oak. Don't I wish I could hunt some deer in that thing.

Good luck on the date, good job on the 'bird, nice purchase on the trailer, good times on the party, sounds like a good weekend for sure.

Depends on the state...some states still have "state stores", Pennsylvania, Utah I know for sure, and I think Massachusetts.

Nope. not in NY. Good thing is liquor is usually was cheaper in mom and pop stores than in state stores. The states that have state stores the taxes are usually higher on liquor. The prices in Utah are stupid high, mainly because it is no bueno to the Mormons.

Yeah alcohol was pretty cheap, got like a 40 of cheap bourbon for like $22. In QC that's at least $40 (state store = state tax).

I was excited to put premium at like a bit under $3/gal. Brushed my teeth with some cause why not at that price. And you guys call that expensive or something. Regular was $2.53/gal

I used to fill up with E85, until I realized that 85 < 87 < 91 < 93.

So now I make a proprietary blend of E93. Works best, bro.

I love you guys.

Yeah...had one spot missing it...found a leak, dug that up and traced the pvc undergound...wasn't too bad...led to 3 more heads. Then, once those had pressure...two others popped up...which led me to go in the back to the area that was not getting any water...stood there getting wet and after a few minutes I got lucky and located the last missing head. Everything is wet as fk now...

nfnsquared is either playing a hard game of devils' advocate or really has something to prove. I'm all for people making their own decisions to their own cars, but don't go on a public forum and disseminate wrong/misleading information. You want to put 87 in your car, go right on ahead! But there's no need to start an entire thread about it.

I'm going to start a thread about how I drive around my TL every day with my high beams on.. Because why not?
