Almost every time we go to G-Town, we start at the Spot since it's a quick burger pretty close to the water. Not the greatest, but it's gotten better.
Recently though, we keep hitting Mosquito or Sunflower depending on time of day. Sunflower has some really good breakfast. They used to have an oddball Farmhouse beer from Rhode Island that I can't find anywhere, and it was great to start the day off with some migas and brew before wasted-dad mode on the beach.

Yeah. Years ago I thought it was pretty okay. And then it got almost terrible, but it's gotten better over the past few years as they built back up.
I figured out the secret (that works for me) is to not get fancy. Hamburger with Fries. Then load the fuck out of if with jalapenos and lettuce/tomatoes. Maybe a milkshake because those are bomb tits. All their fancy burgers aren't worth it for what they are.
I think Mosquito carries pastries baked from the place across the street, which I've heard is really good too but I've never been because I'm already fat enough.

oh and I parallel parked behind the Spot and came out to see someone backing into my car's nose....
told that motherfucker to stay right there. while I inspected. it was during night time, I didnt see any damage so I let the motherfucker go. the next morning, the nose was all beat up.
