Not too much. There's been a little bit but I don't think they're expecting it to be too bad. Tides are up like 5-10 feet so the low laying areas will flood of course. But most places should be fine

slowing down, made a few more boxes for our island to store plates /tupperware. Probably gonna tackle our coat closet next and build something to better organize backstock and things like air filters and stuff.. we don't really use it to store coats so might as well make it work for our purposes..

always!
my bathroom fan exhaust kicked the bucket, So i replaced that with a whisper quiet hear me take shits unit. replaced the toilet flush flapper valve thingy. got tired of lifting the lid of the tank to refill the bowl. did that for about a week, and i was like fuck this lemme go to home depot.

pruned some some large ass oak trees in my front yard. got this super cool Milwaukee pole saw attachment! you can switch out the attachments between edger, weed whacker, pole saw, and a hedger.
I'll tell you what; an electric pole saw is so much easier to use than a manual hand pole saw. made quick work of large ass branches.
I would spend like 2 days with a hand pole saw and could only cut through little limbs...did the big ass branches in like 15 minutes...would hate to be under the branch when it came down. shit is heavy as fuck, THUD when it hit the ground

I was talking to both of you,
mY busy beAvers!

That's awesome...

Johnny, shit yeah, it can be called a coat closet but it can be a dehumidifying room for your cigars or even a skin suit drying closet for MM.
Justin, holy shit Oak trees are SO hard to trim...it's weird because it's hard wood but it is just supple and annoying enough to kinda move with the
saw and make each pass super ineffective.

Don't go too nuts on the substantial lower limbs...I look at our tree now that has a high canopy and think of how nice it would have looked it if
still had the lower ones to look more like a bone sigh tree.

I think you'll get used to the efficiency of the WhisperQuiet, it's not just a sound thing, it works very well too! I hope you like it Did yours come with a motion sensor, that's the shit so that it turns off if no one is in the room.

Man, I got this gangsta ass toilet flusher for my boy toilet. I forget what it's called, but it's like a two-stage system that fills the bowl and reservoir separately. You can fine tune how much it dispenses and how it refills. So there's a midnight mystery stealth mode where I can flush the bowl without dumping the reservoir and it won't make the entire house hear the water moving through the attic.

A+ highly recommend.

I have an older house with a vent size of 3" diameter. didnt want to deal with changing the vent in the attic to route to my brothers room, nor did i want a reducer/adapter.
I chose the only fan with an exit of 3" , a Hampton Bay brand.

Getting new Bridgestone RE980s on Monday. Once I get those grippies on I will finish the review and post it up.

No. The way it fills the tank. I forget the details but I thought it was pretty cool when I was staring at the shelf of toilet guts at Home Cheapo.

I did. They need a hub but they are by far my most reliable smart devices

By comparison
  • I have a few Philips Hue lights, which are fine, but expensive and sometimes they don't do well in the corners of my house. When in doubt, buy a switch, not a bulb
  • Ring devices don't like my wifi network (my network name has a nonstandard character in it) but I have some items I use home bridge to manage so I can keep everything in Homekit
  • MyQ garage door products can be a pain in the ass to set up but they ultimately work well and are easily the most valuable (saving my wife or myself from leaving the garage door open)
  • WeMo switches suck balls. I only ever use them for Christmas lights and an LED strip I put in the China Cabinet

I actually have some damn Feit smart bulbs. Ended up taking them out because the wife and kids continued to use the damn switch instead of telling Alexa to turn the light on. I won’t do bulbs again strictly switches now.

I should have threw the kids and wife out.
