Bruh. The dude huffs Lysol, not to get high-sol, but to sanitize his lungs... I have serious doubts he'd be down with the spit-ness.

Just ate. Gonna get indigestion and watch Biden debate the Idiot on TV shortly.

Got a bottle of Yapanese whiskey here too to start pouring. Everytime Trump lies, I'll take a shot.

bro...I ever tell you the time we were almost home from a 13 hour road trip and Z said she needed to poo on the side of the road.
I grabbed the wipes and it turned out to just be pee and a toot. I figured I'd piss too and let a toot out that turned out a little more
damp than expected. Well in a panic I dropped undies and started frantically wiping without care of where I was and who could see.
Needless to say I get yelled at by J and her 3 kids pointing and laughing at my bare ass on the side of the turnpike and the slew of
shit stained wipes that have been strategically picked up by the wind and held in a somewhat beautiful pattern on the chain link fence
to our left.
Z saw I got embarrassed and said "it's okay daddy, sometimes farts are poop".

You do not drink alcohol anymore?

As I'm getting older, I try to regulate my drinking to about 1 shot an evening maybe once every 1-2 days in general. If I am entertaining, I may go to 2-3...

For stupidity like yesterday, okay...5-6 but that's once a year at most. Last time I drank alot was watching in horror when Trump won the election.

June 10, 2017 was the last time I done drank the spirits.
I'm not good at moderation consistently. B was having a hard time with
it herself and I was tired of apologizing for being an ahole. New life, new
chick, kid deserves a totally sober parent, who dis.

FJ, Zoe is the wisest midget I know.

I'm Swiss...
very black or white.
A month before my 30th I gave up cigs cold turkey.
Never looked back, alcohol was just as hard...but in the end
neither of them did anything constructive for my life. As I always
say...there's no downside to sober life.

Thanks, Yum.

As always, congratulations J! It's not easy, but you accomplished something greater than you know. I rarely drink and it's on a rare occasion if I do. I'm not the type of person to discuss such things on a public forum, but I cut off my mother in law a few months ago. She's been an alcoholic / opioid abuser a majority of her life. She put my wife through hell as a child including being tossed like trash from foster home to foster home. She stopped talking to her parents for over 15 years. When I was ready to ask my wife to marry me, I reached out to her mother and tried to start a relationship with her (against my wife's wishes). She eventually agreed to attend our wedding and I personally made sure she was going to be taken care of. It was the 1st time in 15+ years since she connected with her family. I felt accomplished in the fact that my wifes grandparents got their daughter back. When her grandfather passed away last year, I was looking back at all the memories I had with her grandfather the last 9 years and was grateful he spent the last years of his life connecting with his daughter. The unfortunate part, the last 6 years of our lives have been a roller coaster ride with my mother in law. From absurd phone calls where she's beyond loopy, her abusive BF calling me and told my wife "F-you" (That didn't end too well for him), to finding out many other things while she was here visiting. My wife was in a serious car accident in December and her mother kept telling me "Just f-n sue them and get money" meanwhile not once asking me if she was okay.. I've helped this women out including paying for misc expenses, she kept burning me. My wife and I spent a few months selling items from her grandparents home and cleared out the house so it would be listed on the market. All the money made, went directly to her grandmother, including anything my family took, I personally paid for the items. My mother in law accused us of stealing money. Down right sick in the f'n head to think I would steal from a 90 year old. It's not easy. Many don't know me on that personal level but i've always helped even when the world was against me and if I had little to give, I gave it all. You did the right thing J. Trust me, this isn't a judgement thing for anyone that drinks. Nothing wrong with it as long as you can hold it together and know your limits.

Wow...yeah, the way how substance abuse just tears apart people and families cannot be underestimated.

This is why my drinking is very regimented and controlled. Even then, being the that I am, I am too cheap to drink THAT much of my whisky/scotch because the bottles aren't that cheap.

I agree with you on all counts. I've always wondered how my mother in law had all the money in the world to buy top shelf liquor while complaining about the expenses of someone watching her dogs while she's away.

Thanks dude...
I'm kind of a private person as well.
thanks for sharing...
honestly, I seem cold but if the person doesn't want help...all you can do is create distance. They will either find their way back
or fade into the night. For me personally (and for your wife with you)...it became clear my only job was protecting Z and I did what
I had to do without adding fuel to the fire due to my own ego and hurt feelings. It's served me well and I'm happy to report everyone
involved in the fiasco is doing well now.
